Roulette

Roulette

Roulette has been been around since the 17th Century and has been most popular among the European Countries.

The Basic of a Roulette Wheel in European Roulette is that the wheel has 37 slots which represents 36 numbers and a single zero – the American Roulette wheel differs in the fact that it has 36 numbers and two zeros giving you a total of 38 slots.

Each player to the game will receive different coloured chips when buying in. As a winner of the table, the chips are counted you you then receive that amount payed out to you in you own chip colours. Irrespective of playing online or in a land based casino, you will find that there is a minimum (money value) that is played at different tables or online – an example would be that a particular Roulette table accepts bets of say a minimum of 5USD only.

Each roulette player when placing his/her bet needs to predict where the ball will land after each spin. Luck more than skill plays a pretty large part of this game. There are players that choose what they believe are ‘hot’ numbers that they feel have come up more than not so ‘hot’ numbers, but this is based on a personal hunch rather than on fact – much like choosing your lotto numbers. Often players bet on a fair amount of numbers in one single game in order to increase their chances of winning, this however may give them more winning spins, but the payout is then also reduced at the end of the day.
